A. Direct impact on the improvement of women’s health.
- Breast cancer became „visible“ for risk group and entire population
- Increased number of early phase diagnosed breast cancer and decrease of mortality in Zlatibor county for 5,9% in 2008., despite of increase of new diagnosed cases – health institutions recognized „Jefimija“ influence
- Support is improved by publishing the manual Guidebook Treatment of breast cancer. It is the combination of knowledge and experience and serves to show and make easier the way in the battle against this hard disease.
- Over 5500 medical checkups were carried out; 106 women were diagnosed having problems connected with breast illnesses; 33 of them had BC.
- Increased number of survivors and the length of life after surviving and improved quality of life of ill women and their families; Users have organized experiential, psychological and logistic support during the diagnostic, treatment and home healing phases.
- Founding of National Association of Cancer –treated Patients „NALOR“ and
- Determining the needs of patients with malignant disease in the process of treatment and social support, informing the Ministry of Health about the established situation,
- Setting up websites with the links “Guide through the treatment process”, “Life after disease”, “Life will be better than before”.

B. Impact on health institutions:
- The Fund for women suffering from breast cancer was founded and is managed by the beneficiaries.
- There is a 13-years old practice of fundraising campaign by selling flowers in the streets. Two of the results are:
- a) from 2003 to 2004 the attention of public was turned towards this issue by the campaign and the health institutions were pressurized to equally allocate the chemotherapy medicaments to health institutions in the capital city of Belgrade and the entire Serbia (until then the women from the interior Serbia had to by chemotherapy treatment and then to request the refund from the state, and that was not the case in the capital;
- b) In 2010 - collected money for procurement of equipment for tumor receptors in Regional General Hospital.
- 236 health care workers were informed workers with gender approach to health and possibility of implementation of certain principles of Health and Women Health Care Plan for preserving and protection of women’s health through the work of Primary and Secondary health care.
- Jefimija Program entered the Register Department of Health as program of good practice in NGO sector.
- Health stuff is more sensitive to target group problems, what leads to better contact, higher degree of cooperation with patients and decrease of period of time for healing procedures.

C. Impact on health policy and legislation:
- Supporting Activities of Breast Care Center “Jefimija” as An Example of Good Praxis Work with Women Suffering from Breast Cancer in Accordance With Basic Postulates of Sustainable Health and Women Health Care Plan, and Cooperation of Vulnerable groups and Medical facilities on health Plan Implementation 2005-2006.
- Initiation and commemoration of 21st March as the Day of the cancer patients in the whole Serbia (promoted in the Serbian Parliament).
- Initiation and realisation of the first Pink race for health throughout Serbia, in Belgrade on 12-10-2013 and the campaign for prevention and improvement of conditions for breast cancer treatment in Serbia named “A thousand reasons why I want a life with you”.
- Starting the initiative to reduce tax for medical equipment for women suffering from breast cancer and providing two bras instead of one within two years.
- Researches made on corruption in delivery houses that are endangering health of both mothers and newborns in Regional Health Center
